  • Day 1 Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu(1345M)

    Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will receive a warm welcome from a representative of Trekkers Society. They will escort you to our comfortable hotel, where we will provide you with all the necessary information and gear for your upcoming trekking adventure.     After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will provide you with a detailed briefing about the exciting adventure that awaits you. Get ready to be captivated by the charm of Kathmandu as we take you on a sightseeing tour to explore its rich cultural heritage, including various UNESCO World Heritage sites(includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Mahachaitya).   • Day 3 Early morning flight to Lukla Airport(2840M) and Hike up to Phakding

    Start your day with an early morning flight from Kathmandu domestic airport to Lukla, where breathtaking mountain vistas await you during this short and scenic journey. As you touch down in Lukla, the excitement builds as you embark on your trekking adventure. Meandering through picturesque Sherpa villages, surrounded by fields of crops and witnessing the influence of Tibetan Buddhism in the local monuments, you'll be immersed in a unique cultural experience. The trek to Phakding unveils a mesmerizing view of the majestic Kusum Kanguru, leaving you in awe of its grandeur. As the day comes to a close, settle into a cozy guest house for a comfortable overnight stay, ready to embrace the next leg of your memorable journey.

  • Day 4 Trek to Namche Bazaar(approx. 5 hours)(3440M)

    After a delightful breakfast, we set off on a thrilling journey towards Namche Bazaar. As we traverse the path, we cross several suspension bridges that offer breathtaking views of the majestic Thamserku mountain. Following the tranquil Dudh Koshi Riverbank, we arrive at the charming village of Monjo, marking our official entry into the enchanting Sagarmatha National Park. Our adventure continues alongside the glistening river, gradually ascending in altitude. We reach the highest suspension bridge in the Everest region, taking in the awe-inspiring surroundings. As we trek further, our excitement builds as we catch our first glimpse of the mighty Mt. Everest. Finally, we arrive at Namche Bazaar, a vibrant hub nestled in the heart of the Himalayas. Prepare for a cozy overnight stay in a guest house, embracing the warmth and comfort of this charming mountain village.

  • Day 5 Rest/Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar

    Today is a crucial day for acclimatization as we adjust to the higher altitude. Our focus is on allowing our bodies to adapt to the thinner air. We embark on a short and invigorating day hike to two remarkable destinations. First, we visit the Sagarmatha National Park Museum, where we are rewarded with a panoramic view of iconic peaks like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam. The sight is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Continuing our exploration, we make our way to the charming Khumjung Village, immersing ourselves in the local culture and admiring the picturesque surroundings. Once back in Namche Bazaar, a vibrant trade center bustling with Sherpa people and trekkers, we have the opportunity to delve into its lively streets and discover its unique charm.

  • Day 6 Trek to Tengboche Monastery(3860M) around 5 hours

    Fueling up with a hearty breakfast, we embark on another captivating day of our journey. As we set off, we pass by the museum once more, savoring the mesmerizing views it offers. Moving forward, we reach a junction near Phungi Thanga, where we continue our ascent along a steep trail, following the path towards Everest Base Camp. The trail leads us through enchanting rhododendron and pine forests, creating a stunning natural backdrop. After a few more hours of trekking, we reach the picturesque village of Tengboche. Here, as the sun gracefully sets behind the mighty Mt. Everest, you'll witness a sight that will forever be etched in your memory.

  • Day 7 Trek to Dingboche (4410M) about 6 hours.

Our journey begins by passing through diverse forests, treating us to stunning views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Crossing the Imja River, we arrive at the charming village of Pangboche. Continuing our trek, we find ourselves walking through the scenic Imja Valley, surrounded by its natural beauty. Finally, we ascend to Dingboche, a picturesque village adorned with fields of potatoes, barley, and buckwheat. This idyllic setting provides a perfect backdrop for a peaceful overnight stay in a cozy guest house. Prepare to be captivated by the tranquility and beauty of this remarkable destination.

  • Day 8 Day Hike to Chhukung Valley(4730M) and back to Dingboche

Upon reaching the enchanting Chhukung valley, we are spellbound by its pristine beauty. Nestled perfectly in the embrace of the Himalayas, the valley is surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains. Although the roundtrip hike may be moderately challenging, the breathtaking scenery makes it all worthwhile. After our adventure, we indulge in a delicious lunch and enjoy some free time to wander around Dingboche, taking in the charm of this tranquil village.

  • Day 9 Around 5 hours trek to Lobuche(4910M)

    Today's journey from Dingboche to Lobuche may be relatively short in terms of distance, but the high altitude requires us to proceed at a steady pace. As we set off, we walk along a gentle, flat trail for a couple of hours, gradually making our way towards our lunch spot in Thukla. Nestled at the base of the magnificent Khumbu Glacier, this is a perfect place to refuel and rest. Following our meal, we continue our trek, encountering a steep ascent towards the Everest Memorials. These solemn monuments pay tribute to those who lost their lives during Everest expeditions, serving as a poignant reminder of the mountain's challenges and risks. After paying our respects, we proceed along a gentle, flat trail that leads us to Lobuche. As the day draws to a close, the mesmerizing sunset view of Mt. Nuptse paints the evening sky, leaving us in awe of nature's grandeur.

  • Day 10 Trek to Everest Base Camp(5364M)

    Filled with anticipation, we start the day with an early breakfast, fully prepared to turn our dreams into reality. Today's journey is long, so we must fuel ourselves adequately. The trail leading to Gorakshep presents mostly uphill sections and rocky terrain. Upon reaching Gorakshep, we take a break to have lunch and drop off our bags before embarking on an exciting adventure to Everest Base Camp with our day packs. The trail to the base camp is a challenging, steep ascent over rocky terrain. At Everest Base Camp, situated on the mesmerizing Khumbu Glacier, we are treated to captivating views of the renowned Khumbu Icefall, as well as the majestic Mt. Khumbutse and Pumori, although Mt. Everest itself may remain elusive from this vantage point. We capture cherished moments with our cameras and celebrate this monumental achievement before retracing our steps back to Gorakshep.

  • Day 11 Early Morning hike to Kala Patther(5550M) and Trek to Zongla(4860M)

    As the sun rises, we embark on an exhilarating climb to Kala Patthar, one of the most remarkable highlights of the Everest Base Camp Trek. From its summit, we are rewarded with awe-inspiring views of iconic peaks like Mt. Everest and the majestic Ama Dablam. We capture this breathtaking beauty through our lenses, preserving memories that will last a lifetime. Returning to Gorakshep, we indulge in a satisfying breakfast, fueling ourselves for the journey ahead. Descending from Gorakshep, we make our way to Lobuche, traversing a mix of flat and uphill sections, with the Zhongli village marking a significant point along the trail. Rest comfortably in a guesthouse, ready to continue our remarkable adventure in the days to come.

  • Day 12 Trek to Thangna (4700m) via Cho-La pass (5420m) around 7/8 hour.

    After a hearty breakfast at the guesthouse, we embark on a thrilling trek to conquer the majestic Cho La Pass, towering at an impressive altitude of 5420m. This challenging ascent takes us along a rocky ridge, crossing a small glacial stream, and navigating steep sections for a few hours. Upon reaching the summit of Cho La Pass, a breathtaking panorama unfolds before us, showcasing remarkable peaks such as Ama Dablam, Kantaiega, Thamserku, Taboche, Cholatse, Baruntse, and Numbur. The trail from Chola Pass to Thangna presents an adventurous journey through rugged terrain, offering a mix of excitement and a touch of difficulty.

  • Day 13 Trek to pristine Gokyo Lake(4790M)

    After having our breakfast at the lodge, we set off on our trek, venturing across the renowned Ngozumpa Glacier, also known as Gokyo Glacier. Today's journey takes us to the picturesque Gokyo Lake, a relatively short walk of around 3 to 4 hours from Thangnak. Although the path can be challenging as we traverse the glacier, the rewards are abundant. As we conquer the icy terrain, a breathtaking sight awaits us—the captivating Gokyo Lake. Gokyo village, nestled beside the third lake, offers a tranquil setting with the majestic Cho Oyu Mountain as its backdrop. The elevated vantage point provides sweeping panoramic views of renowned peaks like Cho Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Lhotse, Makalu, chocolate, and Tawache. Gokyo is a popular Himalayan sanctuary, offering a serene atmosphere, comfortable lodges, delectable cuisine, and awe-inspiring vistas. Today, we have ample time to explore the enchanting Gokyo Valley, immersing ourselves in its natural beauty. Rest and rejuvenate in a cozy guesthouse, ready for more incredible adventures in the days ahead.

  • Day 14 Early morning hike to Gokyo Ri (5483m) and Trekback to Machhermo (4470m) 5/6 hour.

    In the early morning, we embark on an exhilarating climb to Gokyo Ri, a prominent peak that overlooks the village and stands proudly on the northern edge of the lake. Setting off at first light, we follow a steep path that ascends the hillside. As we ascend, the majestic summits of Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu gradually reveal themselves, painting a mesmerizing backdrop to our journey. Reaching the summit of Gokyo Ri is a truly awe-inspiring experience, offering one of the finest panoramic vistas in the Everest region. We soak in the breathtaking views, capture precious moments with our cameras, and immerse ourselves in the sheer beauty of the surroundings. After our rewarding ascent, we descend back to the guesthouse, where a hearty breakfast awaits. Following breakfast, we continue our trek, making our way down to Machhermo.

  • Day 15 Trek back to Namche Bazaar(3440)

    After a fulfilling breakfast, we begin our descent towards Namche Bazaar. The journey takes us approximately two hours to reach Dole, leading us through picturesque landscapes and charming villages. We pass through Dole, surrounded by vibrant rhododendron forests, before descending steeply to Photse Tenga at an elevation of 3650m. As we continue, we encounter the enchanting Mongla Danda at 4000m, followed by a gentle descent to Kyanjoma at 3500m. From Kyanjoma, we reconnect with the familiar route that leads us back to the lively Namche Bazaar. Tonight, we rejoice in our successful completion of the awe-inspiring Gokyo Chola Pass Trek, celebrating our achievements and cherishing the memories made along the way.

  • Day 16 Trek back to Lukla(2840M)

    Following a delightful breakfast, we begin our descent towards Lukla, savoring the final glimpses of majestic Mt. Everest that leave us eagerly anticipating our return. Our journey takes us across six enchanting suspension bridges and through charming Sherpa villages, immersing us in the local culture and scenery. After crossing the highest bridge, we continue walking for about 3 hours until we reach Phakding, where we pause for a well-deserved lunch break. With renewed energy, we trek for another 2.5 hours to finally arrive in Lukla. This marks our last evening in the Himalayas, a perfect opportunity to reflect on our remarkable journey and cherish the memories created amidst the breathtaking landscapes.

  • Day 17 Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla

    After a satisfying breakfast, we make our way to the Tenzing-Hillary airport and board a scenic flight back to Kathmandu, relishing the picturesque views along the journey. In the evening, we gather for a delightful celebratory dinner in Kathmandu, commemorating the successful completion of our trek. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, allowing you to unwind and reflect on the incredible experiences of the Gokyo Chola Pass Trek. Rest comfortably overnight in a cozy hotel, ready to depart with cherished memories of your Himalayan adventure.

  • Day 18 Departure from Kathmandu Airport

    A representative from Trekkers' Society will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home you'll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal. Check-out time from the hotel is at noon. If you are departing later, you can arrange luggage storage at the hotel. We will drop you anytime according to your flight to the Airport.
