In general, Bhutan is an open, multi-ethnic and a good-spirited society. In Bhutan, one will find three main ethnic groups: the Tshanglas, Ngalops and the Lhotshampas. Predominantly a Buddhist country, Bhutan is said to be the last fortress of Vajrayana Buddhism. Hinduism, Islam and Christianity are also present in Bhutan with the Bhutanese constitution guaranteeing freedom of religion. Citizens of Bhutan and visitors are free to practice any form of worship as long as it does not impose on the rights of others. The Bhutanese are a fun-loving people fond of song and dance who that enjoys weddings, religious holidays and other events as the perfect opportunities to gather with friends and family.

Best Season to visit Bhutan

Bhutan is an all-year-round destination, yet spring/summer (March-June) and autumn (September-November) may be more desirable travel times for this tour.

A visa is to be obtained prior to arrival in Bhutan for all foreigners, except for SAARC countries. Please see Bhutan Travel Information.

Our meeting in Bhutan: You should to pass your International flight details to us once you confirm and book Bhutan Tour with us for a “meeting and greeting” service at the airport on your arrival, once you pass through the Customs and come out of the Terminal building where you will see someone standing with a placard with either your name written on paper then our airport representative or tour officer will greet you and transfer you to the hotel.
