The Damodar Kunda are situated in a basin in the rain shadow of the high himalays, north of the Annapurnas at  4890M. The whole area is known as Charang , 'land of the hilly lakes'. As well as the Spritual and refreshing benefits of swimmingor immersion in the lakes, there are some beautiful views of Tibetan plateau and the Damodar Himal to the north and Annapurna Himalayan Massif Southwards. Although the Damodar Kunda is reachable by a walking pilgrimage, we facilitate your visit with a helicopter flight from Pokhara to Muktinath and then from Muktinath to the lake area.
